Bio

Daniel Molina is one of the most prominent bolivian guitarists of his generation. Before his arrival to Germany, he established himself as a very active player in his country collaborating with important composers such as Oldrich Halas and Alberto Villalpando and performing in the main venues of Bolivian classical music scene.

Besides collaborating contemporary composers, Daniel is interested in Latin-American music and 20th century guitar repertoire. Furthermore, he participates in different chamber music projects and music theater.

Daniel studied in the Conservatorio Plurinacional de Música de Bolivia with Marcos Puña and Oscar Peñafiel in his hometown La Paz and in the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg with Jens Wagner.
